We are celebrating 62 years of providing chiropractic care to the Missoula Community! Here is a little history on how it all began.

Dr. Elmer W. Gray opened his chiropractic practice in October 1954 in a small office in the Missoula Hotel across from the old Fire Hall downtown. In 1973, anticipating son David’s arrival, he opened a new office on East Broadway in the site of the old Montana Power headquarters. Dr. David arrived in the fall of 1974 and the two practiced at the Broadway location until Dr. Elmer’s full retirement in 1996.

Dr. David in association with several other chiropractors and acupuncturists opened Health Options Clinic on South Reserve Street in the fall of 1997. The multidisciplinary clinic was the first of its kind in Montana and formed the model for the present Russell Street clinic. Dr. Corey joined the practice in 2000 and both father and son continued the tradition of excellence in chiropractic started by Dr. Elmer in 1954. Dr. Corey has left Health Options Clinic and is exploring solo practice and we wish him well.

Dr. David continues to practice at Health Options Clinic in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals. While traditional methods continue to have our respect, we do embrace newer research-proven methodologies of treatment. Dr. David utilizes the Impulse IQ Adjusting Instrument and is a Certified Instrument Adjuster. In clinic treatment modalities may include chiropractic manipulations, instrument or traditional, soft tissue therapies, prescribed physical therapy, acupuncture or referral for medical or surgical consultation.
